Introduction to NPORS The National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS), is an alternative card scheme to the CPCS. NPORS offers flexibility, whilst maintaining standards, both nationally and internationally by working with industry and Accredited Training Providers.
NPORS CSCS Card In Line with the Government Strategy for Construction for a single logo that card schemes can work to, and as a result of the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) decision to award the single logo status to CSCS, the NPORS Construction Operator Card will in future be issued in line with the requirements stipulated by the CLC and will display the CSCS logo.
Flexibility An NPORS card is much more flexible than other schemes, giving you the ability to include attachments e.g. telescopic handler with bucket attachment, restrict the card for operational reasons e.g. 180 Excavator restricted to front bucket use only, and restrict the card for vommercial reasons e.g. restricted for use on A Company Ltd sites only.
Dangerous Goods Awareness This will cover basic DG awareness, dangerous goods laws and definitions, Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and DG labelling awareness and hidden dangerous goods. To cover category 4 for relativity in a general warehouse. Basic Manual Handling & Health & Safety This covers awareness of lifting and handling procedures, warehouse risks, H&S awareness and employer and employee legal obligations.
Delivery by Classroom or Zoom. Zoom recommended. Restricts travel and savings on cost of course.
Course Via Zoom for a Group of 10 people.
Course Via Classroom at Heathrow for a Group of 10 people to include travel from Borehamwood and onsite location.

Cargo Operative (CO) Course (Non Screening) Delivered to the current approved modular list as defined by the CAA. Includes an interactive test using a smartphone. This will allow persons to work in the cargo security restricted area. Dangerous Goods Awareness For Air Cargo Covers basic DG awareness, dangerous goods laws and definitions, GHS and DG labelling awareness and hidden dangerous goods. This complies with IATA DGR table 1.5a category 4.
Basic Manual Handling & Health & Safety This covers awareness of lifting and handling procedures, warehouse risks, H&S awareness and employer and employee legal obligations.
